paragraph tag not working on the page

I used P tags in forum post.

Blog post, right?

When post is displayed on page, P tags are ignored as text is displayed without inserting linebreaks between pargraphs. please advise.

I’m guessing that this is because you’re using the default posts_loop_template.php file, which calls the function the_excerpt(), which strips markup, images, etc.

If you want to render the posts via Posts in Page, but make sure that your markup is preserved, you’ll likely want to customize the posts_loop_template file to use the_content() rather than the_excerpt().
