In your style sheet, IMAGE.alignleft, turn off float left. That will put your sig above the text, “two ways to get notice.”

thanks… does it matter where in the style sheet I put this?

Yes. Find the entry in your style sheet IMAGE.alignleft and delete float left.

thanks… can you tell I really don’t know what I’m doing with style sheets?

No problem. Neither do I. I just change something and see if it works and if not change it back and guess again.

Your browser has tools though to see the parts of your blog and tell you what the css controls. In IE8 it is under tools, developer tools.

    In FF, it is Firebug.

hmmmm… I’ve had problems with this issue before and wonder why wp doesn’t just fix it… will look at the ff firebug… but not right this moment.

    Thanks again.

simply don’t enter your signature image with aligleft
    – use alignnone instead and you won’t have any alignment problems.
