Paragraph/Header dropdown permissions

  • When a user is adding content, they get the toolbar across the top for content formatting (Bold, Italics, Bullet, let/right center, etc).

    I’m having a problem between by Admin account and user accounts. The Admin account gets the Headers dropdown box (Paragraph, Heading 1, Heading 2, etc). That dropdown box isn’t showing up for my users.

    It appears to be a permissions settings somewhere. If I view the same page logged in as Admin I get the dropdown, and then log out and log back in as user, I don’t have the drop down.

    If I try the same thing with the standard (non-FP) Admin dashboard, both User and Admin get the dropdown.

    The problem was that the Frontier Posts Capabilities for those roles missing entries was set to Minimal Visual instead of Full.

    (see my other post for how I thin couldn’t update the value, because that screen won’t let me edit when Capabilities are managed elsewhere).

    Glad yo see you still around! Any chance FP will get updated to at least reflect it’s tested on the most current version of WordPress?

    We love it! There’s no other plugin that provides the features that this does – it’s amazing.

    Yes I will update my plugins

    Have to install a new version contol app, as the old one doesn’t work any more
