First, Print My Blog is exactly what we need to complete our transition to an online newsletter. So thanks for that.

I noticed an issue with the rendering of posts. Between paragraphs there are line feeds, but not paragraph breaks. Not a showstopper but bothersome.

On my testing site I changed the theme to Twenty-Twenty and the paragraph breaks were rendered, so I know it’s must be my theme – Hueman Pro.

Do you know what I might try change in my child theme that will add that extra line between the paragraphs?

Hi @fiberlyone, thanks for the heads-up.

The Hueman theme’s CSS expects slightly different HTML than what Print My Blog produces (which is based around the WordPress default themes, which is why it works better with Twenty Twenty, for example.)

I have a branch that I think fixes the issue for me. Would you like to try it before I make a release? Here’s how:

    1. Download the new version from here: https://github.com/mnelson4/printmyblog/archive/BUG/hueman.zip
    2. Go to your WordPress dashboard, click plugins, then “add new”, then “upload” and select the zip file you just downloaded
    3. Deactivate the previous version Print My Blog
    4. Activate the new version of Print My Blog
    5. Try generating a PDF or print copy again. There should be more space between paragraphs, like you were expecting.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks @mnelson4!

    There are now paragraph breaks.

    FYI
I tested logged in and not on my Mac in Safari, Chrome and Firefox, and on my iPad in Safari and Chrome.

Ok thanks for confirming that fixed the issue for you. That fix made it into version 2.9.2 which I released earlier today.

All the best @fiberlyone! Thanks for reporting the issues you found.
