• Hi All,
I would like to know if there is a way to restrict access to one paragraph only on a page? So, when a person will login will have ONLY that one spot / paragraph access and be able to type / change a contest of it.
    Thanks a lot.

  • Probably not. You may want to search for plugins that allow users to submit content.

If you’re wanting to allow a certain user to make edits to page, you can set their user role to Contributor to allow them to edit their own posts. If you also want them to be able to publish, set their role to Author.

    Roles and Capabilities

I should clarify that what you’re asking for should be possible, by somehow gathering the user-edited paragraph (for example by using a form builder plugin) then placing it on the page programmatically (for example, using a shortcode or other means).

There are a number of both free and commercial plugins that should be able to accomplish this, which you can find by searching.

However restricting editing to just one paragraph, strictly speaking, is probably not possible.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for your replay.
I almost accomplished this task by installing “User Role Editor’ and setup ‘reusable block’ on own page, that reusable block I integrated on my home page. Gave full access to editor account to be able change and upload that one page /where reusable block is/ and works. Not exactly what I was looking for, but at least have some work around it. Hope someone will bring better solution.
    Thanks,
