    Hi there,

I got an email from Paypal notifying me about their certificate changes (SHA 256) and advising to do some adjustments in the IPN settings – as far as I understood.

Is there any action I need to take or is this all taken care of by the plugin itself? I can’t seem to find any mention of this online.

    Many thanks,

    JC

    Thanks Angelo,

My license expired 10 days ago! Could you kindly just let me know if there is any action I need to take at all. I’ll gladly purchase the license again if needed.

    Thanks a lot,

    JC

There’s no word on this from the Devs at the moment. We’ll try to update here when there is.

Im curious too! My web developer thinks the plugin will update on its own. Im worried that Inhabe to make changes and will be acrewed in the end if I dont!

The plugin has shipped with the newer certificates since it was first created, so even v1 wouldn’t be affected by this problem. They’re stopping support for certificates issued over 10 years ago.

ok but someone said it has nothing to do with the plugin but with the hosting service. Im so confused! My website says it uses PayPal standard. To which someone said I should be ok because it only is for PayPal Pro.
Im just going to hope nothing goes wrong after 9/30!

Events Manager uses its own settings to communicate with the PayPal servers, so it won’t be affected by anything else on your server connected with PayPal.
