Papal payment option not showing up with smart button deactivated

    Hey everyone,

    Im trying to get the PayPal plugin to work without the use of the “smart button” on the checkout page (the yellow big button replacing the “buy now” button).

    But when I disable the smart button in the Plugins settings, the payment option disappears too. How can I disable the big yellow branded button without loosing full functionality of the plugin?

    I tried this with multiple themes including storefront and the official wp theme and im not having any luck.

    Hello @janole

    The usage of the yellow PayPal button is mandatory for using our plugin / payment method. This has been a requirement from PayPal, and there is currently no way to circumvent this situation.

    There have been talks to also allow the standard WooCommerce buttons to be used, but there is currently nothing approved in the works for this. I am expecting this to be the situation for now, and can’t really give you any expectations on this changing very soon.
