Pantheon and addThis tool kit dev/test/live environment issues

    I am really excited to use this tool kit, but I am having a pretty big issue when trying to install and use it. I am able to install the plugin on my dev environment (Pantheon), but the admin options do not show on the test or live environment. I have never had this issue before with any other plugin, so I’m not sure where to start.

    The plugin itself is in my plugin directory and I can activate it in all three environments, which then adds the addThis option in my admin list on the left side of my screen, but it only brings up an empty white page (in test and live). The plugin works as expected in the dev environment.

    So I’m not sure how to start debugging this. Any ideas?

    Hi decay.

    Thanks for letting us know about your issue. So far, I’ve only heard of one thing that might cause this.

    Do you have DISALLOW_FILE_MODS is defined as true in your production wp-config.php and not in the other environments? We’ve heard from some people about an issue with that, and are debating a fix.

    If not, are there any JavaScript error happening on page, or any PHP errors getting logged in your production environment? Is this a multi-site instance where the other environments aren’t?

    Thank you for your quick reply! I’m going to get my backend specialist involved in this. He would be more knowledgable of these specifics than I. I’ll report back when I know more.
