First, there’s no need to panic. From what you have described it sounds like you’ve upgrade from a version of Gravity PDF that was below v3.6.

You see, the 3.6 release saw the migration of the PDF_EXTENDED_TEMPLATES directory from your active theme folder to your uploads directory. You can read more about it on our website.

What that means for you is, you should find all your PDF configuration and templates in your /wp-content/uploads directory. Once you’ve verified everything is in that folder you can go ahead and delete the empty PDF_EXTENDED_TEMPLATES folder from your active theme directory.

    Thans for your quick respons.

Unfortunately thats not the case. It’s the folder in my uploads directory thats empty every time.

This sounds like a hosting issue. Some hosts do automated scans and remove any files/folders that aren’t whitelisted in the uploads directory (some other users have experienced a similar issue). Try get in touch with your host and see if they have a similar practice.

Alternatively, you might try move the PDF_EXTENDED_TEMPLATES directory to a different location using our filters gfpdfe_template_location and gfpdfe_template_location_uri.

I’ve contacted my host directly, but he had no idear. And the server was up-to-date. He just run the latest updates, but that couldn’t have the problem he said.

Later today i will try your suggestion.

    Thank you for now!

You can also try display all plugins except Gravity Forms and Gravity PDF to see if there is a plugin confict. If the problem persists try change themes to Twenty Fifteen and check again.

It’s solved. I did all you mentioned, but nothing of that worked. About a year ago I moved the specified directory to the uploads folder, but I didn’t removed it in the theme folder.

And that was the problem. Now the folder is completely removed, the folder in the uploads directory states filled with the files and the plugin works fine again.

Thank you for your time. Your suggestions helpt me anyway to solve this problem.
