Painless WordPress Transfer

This plug-in rocks. I always struggled before copying over databases and files and getting everything to work right, and this makes it SO EASY. I’ve used it now for a handful of transfers, and everything was great except for one case. When I wrote about it, the customer service was prompt and friendly, and we eventually realized that the problem stemmed from my initial site being in a shared database and got it all fixed up.

Now I’m less shy about developing locally or on a dev server since flipping the switch to make it live is much less of a hassle.
