Painfully slow WP4.1 fresh install

    Running a fresh WP4.1 install and the site is painfully slow at both ends. It’s taking 1 minute 40 seconds to load anything.

    Any ideas? Can’t find the DB Version line in the WP_Options table on PhPMyAdmin. the tables are apparently all up to date.

  • If it’s a fresh installation, contact your hosting service provider. Something’s probably going on with the server, rather than the installation.
