Paid Time Off Calendar?

  • Our current employee portal is outdated and barely functional, especially the PTO calendar. I’m hoping that ICS Calendar can be a good solution to our problem, but I need some help figuring it out. If you view the attached link, you can see the preliminary calendar I set up.

    My most important question that will determine whether we can use this or not– can people send in requests for events that admin can then approve or deny? For example, if I wanted to take 3 days off, how could I create an event that would be sent for approval to an admin before showing up on the calendar (if approved)?

    I realize that some functionality depends on having the Pro version– we aren’t able to get the Pro version unless the company owner OK’s the purchase, and we have to know whether it can be used for PTO first.

    ICS Calendar is solely for displaying the contents of an external calendar. It does not provide a way for users to submit events to be added to the calendar.

    ICS Calendar Pro does have some additional features that would get you closer to this, but we are not supposed to provide support for paid plugins in these forums. Please direct any further inquiries to us via the Pro Support Request Form. Thanks.
