Paid, requested support twice, no feedback

I have to admit: when I first bought the pro version, it worked.
HOWEVER, a few days later (meanwhile I installed another plugin), it didn’t work anymore. So I created a support ticket, but I didn’t get any feedback, not even after 2 weeks (and it’s not that the support ticket wasn’t detailed enough).
Of course I removed that other plugin that could have caused the issue but it didn’t help. Strangely, the basic version works but not the pro version.
I again submitted a support ticket but again, no reply after waiting for a few days.
I give up.
I wouldn’t have any problem if the author at least replied and said he didn’t want to investigate in this probably time-consuming troubleshooting issue. I probably would have offered money in case of success but again wouldn’t have any problem if he still didn’t want to investigate.
Not replying is like the worst you can do, especially if people paid for your product.
Should the author get back to me, I will consider changing the rating a bit but otherwise, 1 star is definitely correct.
