Paid Memberships

We create paid memberships all the time for our clients. To make a long story short, the simplest way is to do all paid memberships as 3 different user roles/capabilities and it would be a manual process by you. Another way entails using Woocommerce for automatic membership and more time testing all settings.

Either way it’s not gonna be an easy thing to put together.

Just seems odd to have a member directory without options to have different member levels without a paid membership function built in.

I’d suggest to the developers to consider adding this feature and also include a trial option as well. The Simple Membership plugin does this very well, but that has other issues making it not suitable to my needs.

When you create paid memberships yourself, do you have an expiry time, like after one year renew. If so I am guessing it could get hectic and hard to keep up with doing that manually.

I’ll see what Woocommerce can do but it seems overkill to just have just 2 paid products.
