Paid membership subscription

    I have been trying to figure this out for quite some time, tried numerous different plugins without any success yet so I am coming here for help.

    I need a plugin that will allow me to do the following, in order.

    1. A user registers with my site as a “member” for free
    2. They decide they want to upgrade to a premium membership.
    3. They go to the “upgrade membership” page and buy the subscription
    4. The system automatically changes their role from just “member” to “premium member” for a specific duration of time, and roles back when the subscription ends.

    All the other plugins I have found require me to make a new login page or registration page that I don’t want.

    Can anyone help me with this? Like I said. I have been trying to figure this out for a very long time and could really use some assistance figuring it out at this point.
