    Hi there

    Is it possible with this plugin to charge for user/guest event submissions? It already accepts payment for event bookings, so I figure this shouldn’t be too much of a stretch?

    Of course I could wrap the event submission function up as part of a membership site, where I only display the event submission form for paying members, but that would not allow for payments for individual event listings, if that makes sense. While my site will be a membership site, access will be free after registration, where certain paid features, such as what I’m looking for here, would become available.

    Currently We don’t have a built-in option to make the event submissions have a payment. I think your approach of using membership plugins would work. You could try finding a membership plugins that requires Payment to access a certain page. Then you could put the event submission shortcode on that page.

    Another possible way is to create a custom template for event submission page.
    Then Sell some digital codes using WooCommerce. Then they would need to enter their digital code that that purchased, when verified the page would reload the and event submission form will show.

    I have a slightly different model than you. I an not a membership site and offer free event listings. But I do sell upgraded event listings.

    On the submission confirmation page (you can define this in the events manager settings) I have a link to paypal to pay for the upgraded listing. I used to have the payment on the event submission page, but I had too many people hit submit on the payment and never submit the event. So I’d have money and then have to track down the payer to get the event details. I have not had an issue with people not paying for their submissions. But if they don’t the event is sitting in approval and I can send them an invoice.
