• I’d like to include the VSEL just after the blogroll of my site, which I was able to do using ‘do_shortcode’ in my index.php.

However, there’s a conflict with the pagination of the events list and the pagination of the blog posts. If I go to ‘page 2’ of the events list, it also takes me to ‘page 2’ of the blog posts, and vice versa.

Any advice in how to avoid this? I’ve looked into ‘multiple paginations on single page’, and I vaguely understand the concept, but not sure how to implement it in my case. I believe I might have to make some changes in the ‘vsel-shortcodes.php’ file, perhaps to somehow make the pagination in VSEL unique.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jordan,

Multiple loops on the same page can cause serious problems. I don’t have a quick fix for the pagination unfortunately.

The widget event list doesn’t have pagination, so you can consider to use that shortcode for the homepage: [vsel-widget].

I have removed the pagination from the widget because of this pagination issue when having multiple loops.

Thanks for your response. I found a work-around just moments ago using an infinite scroll for the blog posts. I’m also reconsidering including the events list on the blog page in the first place.

I do have a question about the event meta portion of VSEL. I would like to link the Location field to the location in google maps. Is this something we can do?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

The only thing you can do now it to use the More Info link for this… So in frontend it wil be just a link to your Google Maps.

I’m thinking of a premium version of the plugin, this (a Google map) might be something to inlude.
