Pagination of Log Files Not Working Properly
-
While trying to review the log files on one of my sites (which experienced a large resource usage spike, but no major traffic spikes on one day earlier this month), I noticed that the pagination of the Better WP Security logs isn’t working correctly. Basically, since the plugin uses the general
paged
parameter in the URL to jump to a specific page within one of the logs, but each of the the three logs shown on thebetter-wp-security-logs
page can have different numbers of pages, the “last” page you can view is the last page in the log with the fewest number of pages. For instance, in this particular situation, there are 76 pages in the 404 log, 364 pages in the Bad Logins log and only 6 pages in the All Lockouts log. Therefore, when I press the “Last page” button on the Bad Logins log (which should take me to page 364 of that log), I only get advanced to page 6 (since the All Lockouts log only has 6 pages) and can’t advance any further. Even if I manually change the
paged
parameter to 364, WordPress automatically redirects me back topaged=6
. Thanks.
