When selecting a parent term and a child term, it adds pagination even though there are only two results. We have tried debugging by disabling other plugins and the problem seems to persist no matter what we do. To reproduce the issue, please take the following steps:

    1. Go to https://experiencefranklinnc.com/things-to-do/
    2. Select “Horseback Riding” and “Mountain Biking” underneath “Outdoor Activities”
    3. Results will filter correctly, no pagination
    4. Now also select the parent “Outdoor Activities” term
    5. Pagination appears even though there are no additional results

I realize there is no added value in clicking Outdoor Activities, but some users end up doing this and getting confused. Can you please assist? Thanks.

    Hi @aaronmckeon

There is something wrong with your site, please test it on the clean WP installation as a staging site or a local server with the default WP 2021 theme, FE plugin, and test filtering. Then, add your theme, plugins, and custom codes, to see what exactly causing this issue.

Because this behavior is already wrong – https://prnt.sc/wotMcM7O4LV6 and it is either connected to some plugin conflict on your site or a custom code. Also, not unique VAR Names for filters can cause this, that can be changed in the Filters > Settings > VAR NAMES (URL Prefixes).

    Best Regards – Victor
