Pagination not working on Posts

Heres my wordpress url https://duddydesign.comyr.com/DemocracyConfusion/

I’ve been trying to add pagination to my home page which is where my posts are. Since it’s not an actual page and the paged url (https://duddydesign.comyr.com/DemocracyConfusion/page/2) doesn’t exist, it shows a 404. If I look at a paged url of my empty about page ( https://duddydesign.comyr.com/DemocracyConfusion/about/page/2/ ) it works and $paged returns 2 like it’s suppose to. It also doesn’t work if I make the homepage a static page and another page the posts page. I thought the pagenavi plugin would work, but it’s still not working.

If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
