Does the free version only let you show one Timeline entry per page? That’s all it does on our site with a pagination control at the bottom. Makes it fairly useless.

Also, how do we hide the month. The client wants to just show the year.

And lastly shortcodes. Is there any shortcodes right in the WP editor to look at or do we have to ducktape them together by tooling around on your site? Very hard to find what we need.

Apprecaite the help because this looks awesome!

  • Hi @sdagency,

1.)You can select number of posts you want to display on your timeline per page.
Change the value of show-posts=”2″ in shortcode according to your requirement.

2.) You can easily change your timeline date format in Cool Timeline Shortcode generator.
In order to show only year on your timeline, select “Y” in “Timeline Date Formats” option in shortcode generator.
As in this shortcode replace date-format value with “Y” :
    [cool-timeline layout=”default” animation=”none” date-format=”Y” icons=”NO” show-posts=”20″ skin=”default”]

3.) Thanks for spotting an issue. We have updated Cool Timeline Plugin’s demos.
Now you can copy shortcode from Cool Timelinedemos (https://free.cooltimeline.com/).

Please let us know if you found any other issue.
We would greatly appreciate if you kindly give your valuable feedback.

    Thanks
