Pagination Issue with Envira Gallery
-
I’ve been using your excellent plugin for a while to handle the backend sorting for a somewhat complicated portfolio for a client.
I’ve had your plugin handle the sorting and Envira Gallery handle the display, tag sorting, and pagination and it worked flawlessly initially.
It seems that at some point envira changed it’s pagination links.
Previously, they looked like:
https://www.domain.com/portfolio?page=2
which would 301 to
https://www.domain.com/portfolio/2
and work perfectly.
Now they look like:
https://www.domain.com/portfolio?envira_id=custom_gallery_1&page=2
which 301’s to
https://www.domain.com/portfolio/2?envira_id=custom_gallery_1
and does not work.
Instead of pulling up the second page (or whatever subsequent page a user is clicking on), it pulls up the initial page (page 1).
the new argument “envira_id=XXX” seems to throw things off. Not sure why, but it does.
I’ve reached out to envira also, but the pagination works flawlessly on a standard envira gallery, so it’s something in the interaction between your plugin and theirs so I was hoping you might have an idea of what could be done to correct this.
If you’d like to see it in action you can check out the below URL and try clicking on any pagination links.

Thanks in advance for any help and an outstanding plugin.
