Hi, i’m in trouble with pagination.
I have a static homepage with “podcast list” block in it, but “older episodes” button is not working properly, when I click on it the url changes but the same episodes are shown.
Also I would like to know how to change “older episodes” language.
    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’ve found that pagination is not working only if it’s homepage.
When clicking on Older Episodes the visited link is https://news.pizze.ninja/page/2/ and is not showing older podcasts, but the same as homepage.

Tried adding “podcast list” block to a normal page https://news.pizze.ninja/prova/ and it works as expected. Clicking on Older Episodes the visited page is https://news.pizze.ninja/prova/page/2/ and it shows older podcast.

Is there a workaround or a way to fix the issue in homepage?

    Thanks.

P.s. also in a normal page, pagination is in English and not in Italian.

    Hi @joerocchio,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I was able to recreate this issue on my end so I’ll create a GitHub issue so that our developers can take a look at it and see why the Podcast List block doesn’t display “older episodes” properly when set on a static homepage.

    Hi @keleigh824

Do you have a link to the GitHub issue?
I’m having the same issue – But in my case it happens on all pages, not just the frontpage.

When using “podcast list” I can only see latest 10 episodes and if I try to gp to /page/2/ /page/3/ .. etc. I see the same 10 episodes.

Also, is it possible to show more than 10 episodes as a quick-fix?

Hi @plambech, if this is the official issues page https://github.com/CastosHQ/Seriously-Simple-Podcasting/issues there’s no trace about our problem. As a quick fix you can show more than 10 episodes by changing the “blog pages show at most” value, under Settings-> Reading, as I did.

    @joerocchio Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t work for me either – Despite testing on a clean WP, with only elementor installed.

    Hi everyone,

Here is the link to the GitHub, https://github.com/CastosHQ/Seriously-Simple-Podcasting/issues/724 – I know I typed it out but I clearly must have failed to submit it because I couldn’t find it either, so I just did it again.

We’ll look to get this resolved soon!

    Thanks so much!
