    Hello,

I have more than 900 in some of my blog articles. This is affecting badly in:
    – longer time to load
    – the user needs to scrolldown A LOT to get to comment box and add one more comment.

The only solution that i find to this is the pagination of comments. I tried to enable it from WordPress and i got a warning message from Yoast about problems with Google. I have been readign about that and some forums says that All in One Seo have solution to this, but after years with Yoast I don’t really want to move to anohter plugin just for that.

Here is one of that articles, 960 comments…:

    Is there any solution? Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The warning says that most sites do not need comment pagination. If the majority of your articles have 100s of comments, then your site is the exception where enabling comment pagination helps.

If the large amount of comments are on a limited number of your posts, you can manually link to the comment form at the end of your article by adding #comment to the end of the URL.

Some themes have built-in links that appear directly above the first comment so you may also try contacting the author or support team for your theme to see if they have a feature or way to enable the quick link to the comment form without having to manually add it.

Hi @amboutwe , thanks for your answer. The main problem here is not helping the reader to get to the comment section, is that with 900,600, 500 comments the pages are getting slower and bigger and this is really bad for SEO. Wich solution have Yoast SEO for this? There is any way to implement pagination with no troubles?

    thanks!

Comment pagination itself is not the problem. The problem is that most sites don’t need it and enable it anyways. If it’s slowing down the page, enable pagination.

Hi @amboutwe . Maybe I am formulating the question wrongly … Yoast warns of possible problems due to duplicate content. What solution do you have for this?

    thanks

    Hi,

Can you take a screenshot of this duplicate content warning or describe exactly where it is appearing?
