    Hi,

I’m new to Forminator but am liking it very much so far. I’m trying to make a multistep form, I want there to be 3 sections (all on the same page). First sections is addresses, second is details on the subject, third is personal details. So they would fill the first section, press next, and be brought to the next section without changing pages on the website.

I believe this can be done with pagination, so I added pagination to my form. I added the first pagination right after the last field of the first (addresses) section.
Here is the screenshot : https://snipboard.io/e0ZFRw.jpg
Underneath the page break is the first field of the next section. However, when viewing it on my website, it doesn’t appear how I would like (the progress bar at the top doesn’t even appear, it isn’t multiform at all).

I haven’t been able to find any adequate video or help anywhere regarding this. Please inform me on how to use the pagination feature so that I can create a multistep form, thank you.

    Hi @mebencotransports

    I hope you’re well today!

The pagination, as you set it, would work in a slightly different way. It shows the fields from first page first (so from above the “page break”) and when you click “next” it takes you to the next step, hiding previous one.

This can be done without reloading the page if you set the “Rendering” option in form’s “Behaviour” settings to “Load form using Ajax”.

To see “progress bar” you would need to edit form fields and change the setting of “Pagination” field at the top (above all other fields) – click on a little “gear” icon and in “Settings” tab make sure that “Progress Indicator” is set to “Show” and “Progress Bar” instead of “Steps”.

Note please: you might not see it correctly when viewing the form in Elementor so it’s important to test it on front-end.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
