Pagination for Widget and Issue with Filter

    Hey again,

    As I mentioned on another thread, we have a large number of portfolio items so an additional 2 problems we faced:

    1. Let’s say we limit the widget to only show ’20 projects’. If we apply a filter, I would expect the filter to look across all available projects and then return up to 20 projects. Instead, it displays 20 projects and then applies the filter. I’d be comfortable with limiting the display to only a certain number of records, but I do feel the filters should be applied to the full data set and then the restriction applied.

    2. I’d like to see a feature for the option to apply ‘pages’ / pagination to a widget. For example, show 20 items per page.

    The first is an issue and the 2nd is more of a future feature request. It is important that the filters apply across the whole data set.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the feedback. We are using the Isotope Jquery plugin for the filter: https://isotope.metafizzy.co/ – I think that, if we limit the number os posts per page, it will filter only the post that are being displayed. I think it’s possible to implement this with Ajax, or even with a page refresh. However it will require some work, so I’ve noted this to implement in a future version.
