Pagination does not work

Hello,

I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m not using the shortcodes in the right way…

I have installed the plugin PageNavi and it appears at the bottom of the page, a page that I have created to insert the posts of one category. I have used this shortcode:

[latest cols="1" type="post" num="3" thumbs="true" excerpt="true" length="55" cat="23" orderby="date" order="DESC" offset="0"]

This shortcode works ok to show 3 posts of the category 23 but there are 5 posts and the paginator only shows 1 page with the three first posts, so the last 2 posts are missing.

Am I doing something wrong?
