    Hi.

Just purchased a Pro version of SEO Framework but I am hitting a bit of a wall whether I should have taken a pass on it or not.

Up until now I have been using Google XML Sitemaps which creates a nice and clean short sitemap sorted by year and month. With 25K posts, SEO Framework limits itself to 3,000 links (or whatever I set it to). If I set the limit to 30K, it makes the system crawl.

Simple solution would to continue using the Google XML Sitemaps plugin and not the SEO Framework sitemap feature. But that is a problem when you also went to generate the sitemap-news.xml file (primary reason why I purchased the Pro plugin).

Is there anyway to keep using SEO Framework alongside Google XML Sitemaps AND generate a sitemap-news.xml file? I am thinking no, but hoping yes!

    Hello!

    Thanks for joining ??

Please reconsider whether you truly need to feed 25,000 stale links to search engines or whether feeding only recently updated ones is more efficient: https://tsf.fyi/kb/article/119.

That /sitemap-news.xml doesn’t work with TSF’s sitemap deactivated is an oversight in pursuit of sanity, where the bridge that instigates sitemap outputs loads only when TSF’s is activated. Nevertheless, I’ll make sure it works in the next update of Extension Manager, which is due before the end of 2020.

Currently, the workaround is to activate TSF’s sitemap and hope it won’t override or otherwise conflict with the other ones.

Please contact us privately if you require support with Extension Manager; these forums are for The SEO Framework solely: https://tsf.fyi/contact.

Thanks for the reply Sybre. Yes, I have been doing a reading and see there probably is some redundancy in proving some links that go back to 2011.

I will contact you shortly for some further comments and possible (small) feature request.
