    Hi RPS,

    It’s me again. I was wondering if there is an option where we could paginate the gallery. For now, I’m still testing 4 images. The project will involve lots of images. At least 6 thumbnails per page.

    Currently this is what I have done in a gallery page.

    [gallery ids="44,43" group_name=group1]
    <!--nextpage-->
    [gallery ids="42,41" group_name=group2]

    The result of this code will be 2 thumbnails on page 1. However, when you click on page 2, four images will appear. It included the images on page 1.

    Is there something wrong with this approach or there is some tweaking that could be done in the php code?

    I’m also looking for solution on this. I’ll post the solution here if I solve it.

    Thanks

    It looks like your approach should work in theory. We’ll have a look into this as well for you. For now we have set the status of this topic to “not resolved” so it doesn’t get overlooked. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    We did just test a similar shortcode structure out using the twenty twelve theme and it seemed to work as expected with two images appearing on page one and two on page two of the same post. Perhaps the answer lies in the way that the active theme addresses paging. Let us know if you have some more information we could use to help your effort.
