Hi, the Pageviews numbers are also copied to the new concept when duplicating a post… Thats not right… new post should start at zero page views I believe…

    Hey Bart,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Which plugin are you using for storing your page views? Is it listed under Settings → Duplicate Post → “What to copy”? If not, there is no way in us knowing about the field/meta key to enable/disable it’s duplication.

Thanks. I believe Pageviews are standard in WP. Not a plugin…

And you have you to agree with me that copying that data is not a good thing…

    Hey Bart,

No, a default www.remarpro.com installation does not have a post views feature, so it either belongs in a plugin or it’s a feature of your current theme. If you can find out where it originates from and in what field name it’s stored in the database, you can exclude it under Settings → Duplicate Post → Do not copy these fields

    Hey Bart,

I see, I did install it locally and it seems to store it’s data in a custom meta field named burst_total_pageviews_count – if you enter that in the Duplicate Post settings mentioned in my previously reply, it shouldn’t copy that field over ??
