    Hi Team,

    I see only total visitors, pageviews, realtime views at the top.
    But at the bottom I don;t see individual page views.
    In the wpcontent/upload I don’t see pageviews.php normally.
    Tried visiting ‘wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=koko_analytics_collect’ and it shows a black page;
    At the same moment I see pageviews.php in the uploads folder which has the below

    <?php exit; ?>
    0,0,0,

    And then the pageviews.php disappears within a minute.
    .htaccess in the uploads folder is empty currently.

    Tried deleting and re-installing the plugin. Now for some reason its no more showing even the total count at the top and pageviews.php is not showing up even for a minute. htaccess is empty inside wp-contents/uploads and file permission 755 for the folder.

    Can you share a link to your site? Thanks

    @lapzor Site is not ready yet due to compliance check reasons.
    For some reason, it suddenly started showing stats for some time and then later again no stats now. Wondering if something to do with cron jobs(tested 2 different sites and one of them shows WP cron warning) or php permission somewhere else other than wp-content/uploads folder. Or something else in the hosting side needs to be checked. Will update after doing some more checks.

    @lapzor Manually created pageviews.php file in the uploads folder and is being removed automatically. Will the Koko remove the file after processing the data?

    No changes done. But now I see pageviews.php staying for sometime before disappearing and stats showing the count properly. Not sure why its happening randomly. Any idea what needs to be checked in the hosting settings?

    Hey @leofficial,

    Do you have any security plugin or server-based settings, that could be doing this?

    @hchouhan All in one WP security. By the way, is the pageviews.php supposed to stay permanently in that uploads folder or disappear after sometime?

    Hey @leofficial,

    When our plugin is reading the buffer file (pageviews) it renames it because else you would risk something being written to it while it’s being processed. Once processing is done, the renamed file is deleted.

    So yes, it deletes it every time it’s processed but also recreates it.

    @hchouhan It started working fine again. Looks like some php files restriction I set could be the reason. Closing the case.
