Pages/posts don’t appear

  • I went to Pages > Add New, and created a few pages as usual. They show up in the Pages list in the admin panel but when I click “view page” they don’t show up and I get 404 errors, even though I did publish them and they’re showing up as “published” in the pages list. I also have the same problem with Posts, I can create them and they show up in the Posts list but I get 404 errors when I try to view them.

    I’ve used WordPress on shared hosts before and I’ve never had this problem, but now I’m using it on a VPS so I’m not sure if that’s affecting it somehow.

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

    -> Disable al the plugins
    -> upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
    -> Check with your permalink settings
    -> change your theme to default to rules out theme level problem.
