PageSpeed score — guest mode

    Hi,

    I noticed something interesting. After turning guest optimisation on, page speed score went from about 20 to 75, which is great!

    But, if I try to run lighthouse test locally in my Chrome browser (incognito window), score is still about 20 and all same problems are there (LCP, CLS). So, questions are:

    1. What is the difference in terms of tests?
    2. Which version do real customers see?
    3. How is domain WebVitals affected? Google measures individual pages, but also collects data from real users

    PSI gets the guest mode page, local user gets normal mode page

    they both have access to same optimization technique , on guest mode , all is enabled by default (which could break some functionality but as it’s primarily for bot )

    since all available features are same, you can tune tweak to same or similar result without guest mode
