We’re getting pagespreed issues since installing the plugin. lightspeed scores of 18-55 when they were 82-93 before. Anhy ideas on how to avoid delays? Scripts seem to slow down the page. We’re using a very simple geochart display, no markers.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @zelciuz
You can explore the options available at the ‘Performance’ tab in the options of the plugin. It might provide some improvements. But consider that the plugin does load an external library to generate the maps that has some volume, which might throw off some speed check tools. It loads through a CDN and it should be fast to load. The content of the map itself won’t make a big difference, since it’s the library itself which is heavy. But we need to load the library to make the maps work.

Hi…facing the same issue…is it possible to host the map locally once everything setup…?
because speed is very crucial for this site. amchart.com the external call is dragging too much speed…Kindly include an option for local hosting maps…
Already bought your pro version…rest everything works great…thank you for your great plugin…
