    My page speed insights drop by 30 % if I use this plugin on a page/post. Any ideas? Is it just on my site?

    I just did a speed test with Lighthouse and the speed is at 98% with the plugin active on a page with the block. https://ibb.co/ftf2B5D

    So, defently no 30% drop even possible.

    Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it looks completely different on my site. I just made an empty post (1 line of text) and the mobile page speed was at 78. Then I added the sp*tify plugin (only thing I added) and it dropped to 49 (Computer Speed dropped less: from 96 to 81 – but still…). I am doing the tests on https://pagespeed.web.dev.

    So then it seems that something is interact with this plugin. Can you tell me which WordPress template you use? Might that be an issue? Any other ideas?

    Strange. I was using GeneratePress, but to test if the speed had anything to do with the theme, I changed to Chaplin and then to Twenty Twenty. And in all those examples I get the same(ish) speed (97/98/99).
