Pagespeed Insight result: Optimole serve jpg instead of webp

    I am using Litespeed Cache plugin and Optimole (I want to use Optimole for image optimization instead of Litespeed image optimization)

    I have already “Enable Best Format” and “Enable avif conversion” on optimole and I have disabled all image optimization setting on Litespeed.

    But I am still getting “Serve images in next-gen formats” on PageSpeed Insights.

    Please let me know what I can do so Optimole can serve all image in next gen format (webp or avif). Thanks.

    Hi @robertpurnomo,

    Thank you for using Optimole and reaching out.

    The “Best format” option is a new feature of Optimole, and after enabling it, the images of your site will be served in the best format available for your site visitors i.e. minimum size without quality loss.

    This feature automatically selects the most suitable image format among WebP, AVIF, JPEG, and PNG based on the smallest resulting file size. For example, JPEG can be chosen among other formats because it results in a smaller file size compared to next-gen formats, WebP or AVIF. This system has been implemented to enhance the loading speed of the website. ??

    If you want to serve only in Next gen format then please disable the Best format option.
