page='{slug}' no longer works after update to 3.0, but page='{id}' works fine

First of all thank you for all the time and work put into this crucial plugin!
Since the 3.0 update my site has the same issue as others recently posted here – blank spaces where the inserted page content/title/excerpt/etc used to appear.
I think I narrowed it down to a problem with the page='{slug}’ part of the shortcode. When replacing it with that same page’s id everything started working again.
Before discovering this, I tried the following with no success:
disabling/re-enabling the plugin
uninstalling/re-installing version 3.0
changing WP themes
disabling other plugins I recently installed
shortcode with any other display= & inline optionsI hope this helps in some way to solve the bug, sorry I don’t have any more technical details. For now I’ve reverted to 2.9.1 and I’m sure there will be a fix in the next version. Happy new year and keep up the great work!
