Pages Won't Appear on Site, Though Created Fine in WP

    As a new blog, I successfully added pages to my site a few days ago. Now I’m trying to add more. They appear fine in my dashboard, and yes I’ve hit “Publish.” But they won’t appear on the site. This is version 3.8.

    I don’t know what has changed in between successful publishing a week ago and now. My site is https://kimandcarrie.com

    Any ideas?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I just switched themes, and that is what the problem is.

    I added two pages in the theme fine before, though. How do I figure out the problem?
