Pages with WP being pulled in being treat as 404

  • Hey all, we have recently launched a new website for one of our brands – https://www.leisuredays.co.uk.

    However, I have come across a problem I have not seen before.

    Our WP installation is solely used for our blog/news section, the rest of the site is standard PHP. On a few pages we use

    require('../news/wp-blog-header.php');

    This is used pull though a couple of news article snippets for our consumers to possible take a look at. My problem is this, any page with the require code is being treat as a 404 by both Search Console when crawling and also a few other link testing tools, as soon as I remove its ok.

    Any ideas??
