    Hi there, @wooassist,

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, but thanks for reaching out. Let me recap the isseu to understand if I got this right:

    • you have a mailing list where you link some product pages of your site
    • when these pages have the Jetpack Related Post feature enabled, when they are displayed via the UTM mailing list tracked URL, they present an error with a long code error in the page. (example: https://i.imgur.com/S8p1BWG.png)
    • when you deactivate the Related Post feature, the URL leads to the page (this is an example)

I checked your site, and I can see you have many plugins active, so chances are that there is something conflicting with the Related Post feature. To check for a conflict, the best course of action is to temporarily deactivate all your plugins and check if the problem gets fixed that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing problems.

If you don’t want to do these tests on your live site, many hosts provide a staging service where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

If you decide to try this initial troubleshooting, let us know what you find, and we can go from there. Thanks!

for some reason we are not getting the issue anymore so we cant really test for plugin conflicts. for now we have disabled related posts in jetpack just to be sure our newsletters will be working. thanks for your help so far, if we run into the issue again we will check for conflicts again.

    Hi there, @wooassist,

I am glad to hear that the issue might be just a temporary glitch, even though we’re sorry to hear you had to disable the Related Post to stay on the safe side.

If you have time, you can test that on the staging site: this way you can test the issue at your best convenience without affecting your mailing list campaigns.

Your plan to address the problem should it reoccur again sounds like a plan, all in all. If that’s the (unfortunate) case, you’re welcome to open another thread here with your testing report if that’s closed already. Cheers!

@erania-pinnera hi just to add a note for this issue, we found this related issue on github
    https://github.com/wp-media/wp-rocket/issues/529

we tried the fixes mentioned here to exclude pages with related posts from caching but issue still persisted. And just wanted to ask for possible solutions on this since the plugin conflict test does not seem to be a viable solution as of the moment. maybe you have other cases like this even not exactly the same but could be related. Anything really that could get us started somewhere because we know we did not fix the issue and could be back anytime.

    Hi there, @wooassist,

Thanks for investigating on your own and testing the options already listed in there.

I’d like to take a step back and reconsider the plugin conflict test if you haven’t done it yet. It’s possible that there is indeed a plugin clashing with the feature.

In the WP Rocket GH issue, there is an emphasis to caching-related conflicts, so I’d probably start the tests with the cache and security software enabled at the moment – that would turn off these features altogether, and you don’t need to exclude specific pages as you tested earlier.

If they’re responsible for the issue, we’re happy to help you find an alternative that is compatible with Jetpack.

Let me know if this is a good start for our further tests, and what you find out.

    Hey @wooassist,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
