Pages Widet

May need a little more info…

What do you mean by “pages widget?” Are you referring to a particular page or all the pages? Where are the widgets working?

Typically, you only set up widgets in sidebars, headers, and footers… not main content areas.

If you aren’t getting any widgets on your home page this is because you are using the themes custom home page template and not the default page template. you can change this by going to settings -> Reading: and set your front page display to “your latest posts”

Every widget I set up is viewable on all pages except the page widget(meaning the widget that sets links to all your other pages) so I am not able to navigate from any one page to the other pages of my site. Tried what you suggested above but does not apply.

Wow… My bad, I didn’t even think of the “Page Widget” itself, I’ve only had 4 cups of coffee this morning so… ??

Its so basic too, but i have had some weird problems so far, like having to delete a file just to be able to preview the pages prior to publishing.

Well there you go… your answer is in your question.

The “Pages Widget” only shows pages that people can view. If you have them set to private then the widget wont show.

Sorry to be a little slow, but what your saying is once I set the page to public the widget will be viewable and allow for navigation between pages?

Yes… but test it… make one of your pages public and see if the widget shows up with that one page listed. If it does then you know that was the problem and you can make it private again, if it still doesn’t show up then let me know and we’ll keep working on it.
