Pages shift left to right on screen

  • I have just created the site and I have not edited the theme in any way but when I move from home page to next page it shifts right or left. I noticed this on one of my other WordPress sites. Why is this happening?

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    And why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked. You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    actually WordPress version is 3.5.1
    theme is Catch box and got it on WordPress site

    no shift in FF20 in my laptop screen –

    in case you have a very large browser screen, check the vertical scrollbar which might get triggered by the longer pages.

    what do you mean by FF20?
    No scrollbar is appearing.

    I don’t see anything moving either – FF20 = Firefox version 20.

    What browser are you using?

    firefox 21.0

    I just looked again – don’t see anything like that. Are you logged out? Have you cleared your browser cache/cookies?

    Did you make changes to any theme files? (Hope not as they will be overwritten when the theme is updated.)
