• Hi,

yesterday I tried deleting a page on my www.remarpro.com site. Frustratingly, the link still remains on the homepage in my navbar. When clicking the page it comes up with this:

    Just an error.404.
    Not Found

    Try to search the site

    Search For:

    Go Home

I’ve found posts on this forum that are similar but not quite the same & none of them have been helpful. I’ve tried changing the theme & saving the permalink setting but no joy.

    link: https://www.jhnbry.com
the link I want removed: https://www.jhnbry.com/interests-research/

    thanks

After deleting the link, have you tried:
Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.
Flushing Managed host caches. Managed WP hosting often has special caches. If your host has a “Purge Varnish” or “Flush Memcache” tool, try that. You can ask your provider to flush memcache and Varnish for you if necessary.

@jhners, please remove page link from menu also.

    To do this:

    1. Navigate to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus.

    2. From the dropdown Select a menu to edit, select needed menu and click on Select.

    3. Navigate to desired link and click to expand.

    4. Click Remove

    5. Save Menu

Now, visit your homepage, refresh page.
    Hope it helps.
