Pages redirect to incorrect URL

  • Hello,

    I am experiencing a problem with my wordpress website in that all pages redirect to an incorrect URL, so the pages don’t even load.

    My website name is https://www.driphacks.com. If I try to navigate to any of the pages, the url that it goes to is: driphacksdriphacks.com. This is obviously incorrect and leads to a blank screen with a message saying “safari can’t find the server.”

    So now I have a lot of customers who cannot purchase anything when they’re logged in. It is important to note that this problem only exists when you log in to a customer account or admin account. Therefore I’m guessing it maybe a plugin issue, I am currently using “Custom My Account for Woocommerce”. The reason I am posting here is that the support for plugins is almost non-existent in my experience and a pointless endeavour.

    If anyone has experienced a similar issue I would really appreciate any input.

  • Have you previously moved your WordPress installation from the domain your pages are being redirected to?

    You should try disabling all of your plugins to see if this rectifies the issue, if it does you can re-activate your plugins 1-by-1 until you find the cause.

    No, I haven’t done anything like that.

    If I disable plugins will any settings be lost? I’m a little bit hesitant to do this but it seems like a good place to start.

    Your plugin data should be fine providing you don’t delete the plugin, then it will be lost.

    OK that worked straight away, it seems a plugin called wp symposium pro was causing the problem.

    And the best part is I wasn’t even using it!
