Page's permanent link control

    Hi,

    I’ve removed a page then I changed my mind and created a new one. But WP does not allow me to have the same url/permanent link.
    I want it to be called /pagex but WP keeps adding /pagex-2 to the slug.
    Can someone help me fix this?

  • Did you delete the page or just trash it? If it’s only been trashed, then you need to permanatly delete it from the trash then go back and edit the permalink of the page that you want to keep.
