    Hello Steven, I’m contacting you sooner than I expected.. I just noticed in Google Search Console that the pages on my website initially test mobile-friendly, but on closer inspection; when I test the live url such as my homepage – it’s showing as not mobile friendly.

    It’s stating that clickable elements are too close, and that the text is too small. I’m not sure what it’s referring to. I know earlier this morning I added both a Pinterest and Instagram social icon each to both the sidebar and the header on the top left side.

    *But I removed them after I saw the page wasn’t mobile friendly – thinking they may be the cause. But I rechecked in Google Search Console and it’s still showing my homepage live url and all other pages I’m assuming as not being mobile friendly*

    What’s weird is that a symbol was showing at the top of the screen (a v shape) after I added the 2 icons instead of the actual icons displaying openly which I prefer. After you click on that v-shape, then it shows the social icons.

    It seems as if the logo is cut off at the top of the screen? Or is that the way it’s supposed to look? I just want my social media icons to show at the top of my homepage without people having to click on a drop down arrow to see what it is, you know? I hope I explained this issue clearly to you. I did this on my phone. But I believe it would show the same on a desktop. Thank you so much!!

    Actually I re-installed the social icons because they’re not what’s causing the page to not be mobile friendly. I checked the live url multiple times after deleting the social icon plug-in, and it still kept showing as not being mobile friendly. So it has to be something else causing this issue..

    Hi @cookgirl26,

    It looks like your current site is showing up as mobile friendly:
    https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/25231003?key=bd1c088c87dbf8a1e97e1d64c4825f0f

    It’s possible that you’re looking at a result that’s still based on previous data, but you can test the current version of your site here:
    https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

    I can’t seem to reproduce the cut off logo on any type of mobile device, would you mind including a screenshot of what you’re seeing along with what type of device this is on so we can do more testing? Thanks so much!

    The header widget areas collapse on mobile by design, but if you only have those two icons in those areas then it may feel like overkill. Let me know if you’re not going to be adding anything else in the header widget areas, and I can write up some CSS for you to remove the collapsing feature.

    Hello Steven; yesterday it *was* showing in red (not mobile friendly) when I tested the live url of my homepage in Google Search Console. But I think it may have been my affiliate link being too big or something, because I changed it out to a smaller one; and now it’s showing as being mobile friendly (live url test).

    Yes, those are the only two social icons that I would like to display for now, so if you can do the CSS code; that would be great! Thank you so much for your assistance.

    Sure thing, here you go!

    @media (max-width: 767px) {
        .header-row-1-toggle {
            display: none;
        }
        .header-row-1 {
            max-height: unset;
        }
    }
