here is the link to my website which was created in fatcow.

    https://wallkillteachers.org/

when I click on the menu for the different pages such as benefit trust the correct permalink shows up as below

    https://wallkillteachers.org/wta-benefit-trust-3/

now once I am on that page – benefit trust – if I click on the home button on the menu it does not go to wallkillteachers.org but to here

https://wallkillta.fatcow.com/ which is the home page but the url is for fatcow… I have changed the settings in general for both wordpress url and site url… to wallkillteachers.org and that did clean up most of the earlier errors where each page would reload with wallkillta.fatcow/whatever the page is..
thanks for the help folks! a very new newbie

  • You may have to make some changes in the menu.

Go to Appearance – Menus and then from the “Select menu to edit”, choose “Menu 1” (or something, I’m not sure of the exact name).

You should see a menu entry called “Home”, and you should be able to open it and change the URL that it points to. Currently to https://wallkillta.fatcow.com, change it to https://www.wallkillteachers.org.

If you don’t see that in there, maybe the menu is set in some other place in the theme options.
