Pages of the website using Pods are exceedingly slow

    Hi,
    since last update I have an issue with the time loading pages using pods, exceeding 20 seconds.
    I also have problems in the backend when i need to access articles or pages I want to modify and when i want to create some I have this error message :
    Service Unavailable
    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

    When I disable the Pods plug-in the website is very fast, both backend and front-end.
    I have to say the pages using pods were loading slower before last update, but now they are really really slow.

    I used WP Fastest Cache and Pods Alternative Cache but it didn’t really improved things.
    – Wp is 5.9
    – wp-config.php memory is 256M
    – PHP is 7.329
    – Datebase is 5.5.68-MariaDB
    – Host is Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/5.4.16

    Can you confirm that when Pods is activated, you have the Sessions disabled at Pods Admin > Settings?

    Can you also post the Site Health information you have available at Site Health > Tools > Click the Info tab and click the “Copy ….” button right below the tab you clicked once the page loads. You can paste it here as a reply in the forum.

    I’m eager to help you identify what’s going on here.

    Same goes here, i tested both on a server and on a localhost – wamp, when pods enabled it is 3x slower, although there is nothing related to pods on a page, how can i fix this? How to speed up pods? Thanks.

    Pods 2.8.18 improved performance by a bit, which version are you running right now @paulfreq and what sort of numbers are you seeing? Are you on our Slack yet?
