Pages not shown in search results

    I don’t have any search.php and grep’ing for query_posts doesn’t really show anything meaningful.

    In settings “page” is checked, but only posts are shown.

    Is there any way I can troubleshoot this?
    I’ve looked through the forum and the checklist to my best abilities, but nothing pops out to solve this.

    If you try the search with the Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search), does that find pages? If pages are in the index and only posts are shown, can it be there’s a post type filter in the search? Is your theme restricting the search to posts?

    Oh wow, you’re absolutely correct obviously.
    The misc page on smartmag theme had a setting about “limit search to posts”.
    Disabled that one and it works like a charm.
