Pages not showing correctly

  • I uninstalled and reinstalled my plugins 2 weeks ago (including elementor which is the page builder I use) and since then my pages aren’t showing up correctly. The home page has none of the formatting that I see when I log in as admin.
    Also the blog page is not showing any blog posts from this year.
    I have no idea what I can do! It’s been two weeks and I’m not technical in any way. I don’t even know where to begin with this. I’ve had this site for 3 years and first time it’s taken this long to resolve an issue.

  • I’d like to confirm a few things first:

    • Can you still see all your 2023 blog posts from the dashboard?
    • I took a look at your blog page, and I noticed that the first few articles have “This post was last updated in 2023” written on them. The latest post is titled “Recycling Household Metallic Objects – A Complete Guide.” Is this the post that’s from this year you think? If so, have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?
    • Also, did you install any additional plugins when you re-installed plugins?

    Hi Thanks for the reply. I thought I would give it another week to see if anything would change, however when I view the website from my phone and desktop, the content is old and format is off.

    However I since got another device and looked up the website on that and all it good.

    Plus the last post (as of a week ago) was “Recycling Household Metallic Objects – A Complete Guide.” so it seems it is showing the right content for other people.

    So I know for next time – why has the view from my devices changed?

    I can see the 2023 blog posts from my dashboard, I have cleared by browser cache from both devices and I didn’t instal any additional plug ins – just uninstalled then reinstalled my existing ones.
